Intruder reactions
Reaction packs, sounds, cooldown, and making the ward your own with custom images.
When someone touches a warded Mac, Wardlume can spring a reaction: an image that flashes for a moment, optionally with a sound. Configure it in Settings → Intruder reactions.
Reaction packs
| Pack | Style |
|---|---|
| Silent Professional (default) | Office-friendly: a red frame and ACCESS DENIED, no sound |
| Wizard | A glowering wizard, with sound |
| Grumpy Old Man | A stern stare, with sound |
- Play sound on intrusion: plays the pack’s audio if it has one.
- Cooldown: the minimum time between reactions (1, 3, 5, or 10 seconds).
- Test reaction: preview it without casting a ward.
Custom assets
Make the ward your own. Drag a file onto a slot or click Browse; leave a slot empty to use the pack’s default.
| Slot | What it does | Formats |
|---|---|---|
| Cover image | Shows the whole time the ward is on, in place of the glass shield | PNG, JPEG, HEIC, GIF · up to 10 MB |
| Reaction image | Flashes when someone touches your keyboard or mouse | PNG, JPEG, HEIC, GIF · up to 10 MB |
| Reaction sound | Plays with the reaction image | MP3, M4A, WAV · up to 10 MB |
Wardlume copies your files into its own sandboxed folder; your originals are never modified or uploaded. Removing a custom asset deletes only Wardlume’s copy.
